Trained by Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott
Vauban knows the Melbourne Cup as well as any horse in the 2026 field: the French-bred entire, now trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, ran sixth behind Half Yours in the 2025 edition. Jordan Childs takes the ride in 2026 with 56.5kg.
