About Belmont Park

Belmont Park, seven kilometres east of Perth, is Western Australia's winter headquarters while Ascot undergoes its annual renovation. The tight 1899-metre circuit is the home of the Belmont Sprint and winter carnival racing in Perth.

Racing at Belmont is sharp and tactical — inside barriers carry real weight in the short straight, and the Perth winds that sweep across the course can play a part. In summer, the action shifts to the famous Ascot course nearby, home of the Kingston Town Classic and Railway Stakes.
