How Race.com.au makes money
Race.com.au is a free Australian racing site funded by advertising, labelled sponsor listings and affiliate commissions from some wagering advertisers; none of these affect the TAB odds, form or results we show. We also carry ads for a licensed wagering operator, and we may be paid a commission when you click those ads or open an account. Odds come from TAB and are dated, and form and results come from official racing sources.
Display advertising
Some pages carry display ads served by advertising networks. They're marked as ads and are kept separate from our racing content.
Sponsored listings
Some pages may show paid listings, for example venues or hospitality. They're labelled "Sponsored", and their links are marked as paid links for search engines. A sponsor doesn't choose where it appears in our editorial content, and it can't edit it.
Wagering advertising and commissions
We show advertising for a licensed Australian wagering operator. If you click one of these ads, or open an account after clicking, we may receive a commission. These ads are labelled, and we don't take bets ourselves.
Odds
The odds shown on Race.com.au are TAB fixed odds, with the time we captured them ("as at"). They change often. We don't take bets, and we don't give tips.
What payments never change
No advertiser, sponsor or wagering operator pays to change the odds, form, fields, barriers or results we publish, and none of them reviews our content before it goes up. Fields and results come from Racing Australia, the race clubs and Racing Victoria, and odds come from TAB.
