How to read today's results
Each result shows the first four home with winning margins in lengths, the starting price (SP) of every placed runner, and the official dividends. Win and Place dividends are the tote returns for a $1 stake; exotic dividends — Quinella, Exacta, Trifecta and First Four — follow once declared. A result marked "protest" is provisional until the stewards rule; dividends are only paid on correct weight.
Margins matter when reading form: a half-length defeat in stronger company often reads better than an easy win in weaker grade. Note the class of each race alongside the result — metropolitan Saturday form is the strongest reference, then provincial midweek, then country. Track condition at the time of the race (Good 4 through Heavy 10) appears with each meeting and is essential context: some horses are specialists on rain-affected ground, and form on Heavy tracks rarely translates directly to firm going.
Results by state and track
Browse results by state — NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, TAS — or open any track page for that venue's recent meetings, records and biases. Replays and stewards' reports are published by the state racing authorities; our race pages link the full field with jockey, trainer and barrier for every runner so you can trace exactly how each race was won.
