About Moree

Moree Race Club, in the heart of northern NSW wheat country, stages the Moree Cup each September as the region shakes off winter. The meeting is one of the earliest major country cups of the NSW spring and a traditional target for horses coming out of the northern district's winter program toward the richer cups at Coonamble, Dubbo and Gunnedah.

Moree's track rewards genuine gallopers β€” it's a spacious country circuit where leaders can steal a break if the tempo slackens. Trainers from Moree, Narrabri, Gunnedah and Inverell support the cup heavily, which means deep, honest fields and betting markets that haven't been picked over by metro money. Our Moree fields, tips and results cover every race.

How to attack the Moree card

  1. 1

    Read the track bias first

At Moree, the barrier draw and prevailing pattern decide more races than class does. Check the condition and the first race before locking in any early plays.

  2. 2

    Shop every price

Fixed odds move all day. The best available price on each runner is tracked live on our odds comparison β€” taking top-flash instead of SP compounds into serious bankroll over a season.

  3. 3

    Stress-test your best bet

Before you commit, run the race past Racebot β€” our AI analyst rates every runner on form, market and barrier for free.
